Rune Essence
He says that you will need to teleport to the Rune Essence from 3 different locations. Here are a few places you can teleport from:
You just need to teleport to the Essence Mine, leave, and then teleport from another location-- you don't have to mine any Rune Essence.
Rewards
Runecrafting Pouch Info The various Pouches allows you to carry Rune Essence inside. There are 4 different sizes, each able to carry a different amount of Rune Essence. You can only carry 1 of each kind of pouch at a time, and the other pouches are sometimes dropped by the Abyssal Creatures.

First
off, follow the river east of Edgeville to the north until you find the Zamorak
Mage. Try speaking to him while not wearing any
Guthix or Saradomin items and he will tell you that the Wilderness is not a safe
place to talk. He will tell you to go to 
A
bit south of Aubury's Rune Shop is an Altar of Prayer and a small church for
Zamorak. The Mage should be there. Speak with him and he will want you to do
a small task for him. He would like you to get the Rune Essence Teleport spell
for him, and he will give you a Scrying Orb for the job.
Once
you've teleported 3 times, your Scrying orb will be completely green. Bring this
back to the Zamorak Mage in Varrock and he will give you an Abyssal Research Book
, a Small Pouch
,
and 1,000 Runecrafting experience.
Medium Pouches
hold up to 6 Rune Essence and require 25 Runecrafting. 
Large Pouches
hold up to 9 Rune Essence and require 50 Runecrafting. 
Giant Pouches
hold up to 12 Rune Essence and require 75 Runecrafting.
