KBD Dungeon

Special Thanks to Warren, Neo Avatars This is a guide on a dungeon located in Level 42 of the Wilderness and is home to the meanest, strongest dragon around... the King Black Dragon! There are 3 ways that you can reach the King Black Dragon (KBD for short). The first 2 methods are more commonly used. Route 1: Deserted Keep The first way that you reach the KBD is using a lever in Ardougne (often used in the Mage Arena Mini-Game) which teleports you to the Deserted Keep. From there, you can walk to the dungeon. Note: You will need a sharp weapon to cut through the web.  Route 2: Obelisks The second way to get to the KBD is by using the ever so useful Obelisks that are scattered throughout the Wilderness. There is one located northeast of Edgeville, which will teleport you to another Obelisk which is located west of the KBD. Note: When using the obelisk northeast of Edgeville, click the northwestern tower of it.  Route 3: Walking From Edgeville The third way is to simply walk from Edgeville. This may take longer, but can be a good way to avoid those pestering PK'ers.  As you reach the reach the dungeon, you will come across some Lesser Demons guarding the ladder:   Run past the Lesser Demons, go down the ladder, and you will find yourself in a small room filled with Poison Spiders (Level 64). Now, to avoid being poisoned, don't bother killing them, just run and pull the lever located on the wall adjacent to you.  After pulling the lever, you will then be teleported into the dragon's lair. Be careful! If the KBD sees you, he will attack you with a variety of magical attacks, such as his deadly fire blast, or a blast that will poison you. He can hit for very high damage, so I suggest you bring food (lobsters and up are a must), maybe some Prayer Potions, an Antipoison, and a method of teleportation. Don't forget to bring an Anti-Dragon Shield either! The main feature of the dungeon is of course, the King Black Dragon. He spawns toward the northern side of the dungeon, near the middle.  To the east of him, there are several chests, containing a variety of items. King Black Dragon (Level 276)
