Famous Bands?

I'm bored so I got curious as to what famous bands came from my home state.
Pretty obvious if you look them up but the only ones I can think of are Hootie and the Blowfish and The Marshall Tucker Band.
How about you, any famous bands from your home state/province/etc...

But then I thought about it and pretty much all my friends have quit and the game is just way different then when my membership ran out.

Sooo... we went to the pet store this morning to get Shannon some new fish. Turns out the first store we went to lost their lease so they were clearing out like mad. 8 foot boa, mice, gerbils, rabbits, cats, birds... random chinchilla....
Shannon wanted to get fish, so we checked out the nasty tanks and the few fish they had left. Headed over to the main aisle and she saw the rabbits. Then she saw the chinchilla. Rabbit and cage and stuff, $60. Chinchilla and stuff, $100. Obvious choice. Shannon now has a bunny she calls Mrs Fluffems. ATM she is hopping around in my living room.
The bunny is hiding in boxes, Shannon is hopping.

A friend of mine's friend is going to jail soon, so he offered to buy her some alcohol. I gave her a list of stuff that I'd like or have been requested to obtain. Hopefully Alexis will get ahold of the stuff and get it to me soon.
In case you're wondering, the list was a handle and a fifth of vodka, a fifth of tequila, and a fifth of rum. The only thing that will stay in my room will be the handle. The rest will to to a party supply.

Lazed about for a little longer before I realized that o had forgotten to do my german homework (hausaufgabe if you prefer that) so I jumped up, took a quick shower, scribbled down the hw and headed off to Deutsch. Got out and headed to my room to put on more weather approprate clothes. Wandered up to English to watch Shaun of the Dead. Shannon texted me when I got out and I headed to the ferg to sell back a couple of books and meet her. We are now hanging out in her room as she does her laundry and I do.... nothing.

After this class I have an hour of German and an hour of math, then probably an hour running back and forth to and from the supply store to sell books back and return the iPhone case I bought yesterday in a fit of dyslexia.

The rule for leaving is e have to give her 10 minutes (grad student teacher) then we send someone to something and tell them she didn't show up. Oh well I've only got two classes today.

Well last night didn't turn into a disaster.
But tonight was fun. Katelynn was given a nerf gun as a present, and Jon said he was going to get one today. So we all paid him to get them for us.
I ended up with a Raider CS-35 and Shannon got a Recon CS-6.
So we got back before my roommate and called him in, Matt walks in to a hail of 40 nerf bullet things. Lol. Then he gets the idea to "raid" the room next door. Him and Shannon went in and shot at Caleb, Josh and the girl in there. Funny... but I have about 5 less bullets.

We haven't got anyone who can get us anything ATM. So we asked a sorority friend of hers who gave us a six pack of bud light. Thanks to lilshu I cannot drink that ever again. Lol. It's 15 degrees and getting colder. I've been in Shannon's room for a couple hours, I'll be warm for tonight. And by proving that we weren't drunk, Shannon and I revealed that we are together to the Lauras, and Kacey will find out VERY soon.
We are going to have a party on Sunday. Me and Shannon are running around on Kacey (she's breaking up officially with him afterwards), Laura (the host) is still allowing Jon (here former crush who recently told us about his gf) to come, and Laura was lusting after me.... shizzle this is going to be a crazy party. If I can get drunk before the party, I'll have some folks joining me.
Anyone else see a disastrous party?
tl;dr : shizzle's going down Sunday.

calling the dell guy tomorrow... the whole right side of my keyboard is fudgeed up now. he's supposed to come replace the keyboard, i'm going to have him look at the blue screens and all that jazz.
