First, we would like to thank you for your interest in signing up for a forum account here at Sal's RuneScape Forum. We're a friendly community, but you need to be sure to follow the Forum Rules.
Signing Up For an Account
There are a few things that you should know before signing up for a new account:
Display Names: Your display name is the name that everyone will see on the forum, when you make a post, reply to a message, or otherwise use any of the forum functions. Display names may only contain English letters, numbers, spaces, dashes ("-"), and underscores ("_"). You may not use any other characters in your name.
Offensive Names: Names may not contain any offensive words or terms. Any account found to be offensive will be deleted without notice.
Multiple Accounts: Having multiple accounts is not allowed. If you are found to have more than 1, they will be deleted. There is a section on the registration form that you can fill in if a family member also has an account here.
Intended Audience: Because RuneScape is a game intended for players who are 13 years of age or older, this community is also intended for players who are 13 or over. Although the staff members here do our best to prevent any type of inappropriate content from being posted, we cannot monitor every part of the forum, every minute of the day. Boards such as the "Debate Room" may also contain discussions of a mature nature. Please be aware of this - if you don't think that you can handle this type of content, please DO NOT register.
Validation Email: Before being able to log in to the forum, you'll need to validate your account. You can do this by clicking on the link in the email that is sent to you by the forum. This is why you must supply a real email address, as your account will be deleted after 24 hours if it isn't validated.
If you don't receive an email from Sal's Realm of RuneScape after signing up, please check your SPAM or Junk Mail folders of your email account.
