In a recent discussion between the moderators and administrators, we (the staff) have had a look at the Tech Support group.
The Tech Support members have all been amazing contributors to the discussion and problem topics within the Tech Talk section, and we hope they will continue being the great members who they are. However, while evaluating the Tech Support group, it was agreed upon that the group itself has lost its original purpose. And for that reason, the Tech Support group has been removed. |

Hmm. I do think this will make people less interested in helping people with computers though, for known reasons.

Interesting thing you have done there. I personally think that if it was possible to have a tech group that did what was the original intention of the techies that could be great but its a whole different story.

I'm confused. The original purpose of the TS was to help with site projects and moderate the tech forums. Sal doesn't require any technological help with any current or future projects, though. And there are enough moderators to handle the reports in the tech talk forums. |

The group hasn't been removed from the legend as well as it could have been
. It is good the group is gone, there are so many members who know what they are talking about that having a tech support group wasn't really needed. I hope it finds it's purpose again one day .
