Is there such a thing as a netbook with a 2.0MP webcam? 1.3 just isn't enough,

To my knowledge there isn't, but I'm sure amazon or newegg has a 2mp webcam you could buy.

I'm pretty sure that there are various MSI netbook models with 2MP webcams, including the MSI U110. But I don't know why the quality of the webcam is a major problem - 1.3MP is generally decent enough quality for video conversations, and you can always buy a laptop webcam that clips onto the netbook, like Redmonke said.
