3MP autofocus camera.. Yeah, I’ve got that on my phone from ’07.
Interestingly, wtf is with that camera? Is it x-ray view through his hand or something?
Touch screen focus.. Uh huh.
Video recording.. yep, that’s on my phone too.

Video editing – Cropping a video.. wow ..So advanced. That’s what we’ve got computers for.

Voice control – got that on my phone too o.o
What does look nice is that it seems automatic.. Whether that’s an already trained iPod, or if that’s how it works already, we’ll wait and see.

Compass + Map orientation - $20 dollar software on Windows Phones can do that,
So lazy you can’t turn your ipod around to match the direction if you’re having that much trouble.. Should you be spending money on this when you could spend some of it learning instead?

Well the majority of people with digital music collections have iTunes (Broad statement, I know), so it's helpful having but a media organizer and store linked to your phone.

I have to agree with everything Jamster said. I am really glad I chose the G1 over the iPhone. Especially since new iPhones seem to be coming out every couple of months, and I really hate with Apple how you have to pay full price to update/get something new.

The phone industry or the apple industry? I don't know anybody who's bought it for it's phone capabilities, but more for the other features it sports. People who want a decent phone look elsewhere, like, oh i don't know... G1, Blackberry, Samsung Tocco... the list goes on. It's not a phone, it's a gadget. You always have to have the newest one otherwise it defies it's purpose.
