I got an email about it today and I want to check my PC to see if it's good for Windows 7. I managed to start downloading it today and the speed was at 7kb/s then it later froze and I cancelled it. I'm trying to start the download now but it just keeps loading and the download never starts. I'm trying to get Microsoft_Assessment_and_Planning_Solution_Setup.x86.exe by the way.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en Has anyone already downloaded it? Are there any alternate download locations? Thanks! |

Uhm I think your a bit confused on what this tool is for its not to scan your computer to find out if it can run Windows 7 its to determine if whole corporation networks can be upgraded to it.
Just tell me your specs and I will tell you if it can work. |

Like Emo_Nemo said, that tool is designed for large businesses. A more suitable tool would be the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor. Tell us if you have any problems downloading that.

Yup thought so anyway, and the Upgrade Advisor found no problems, except one telling me to back up my files, which I do, I put my files on my external hard drive. |
