If you don't care about drops, giant spiders in the third level of the SoS are nice training. You could also try fire giants.

Cockroaches are like Fire Giants, they have decent drops, and I believe they're aggressive. They may or may not be closer to a bank, however.

Cockroaches are not aggressive.
I train on Bandits.
It works, if you have a set of guthans, and some extra food + cash lying around. (Food and cash for emergencies)
You also have to have a Saradomin/Zamorak item.
If not, then, I'm not sure.

Monkey guards at ape atoll are decent experience but the real selling point is there is an alter literally 2 steps away so you will never get hit and they heal themselves like monks used to.

If you have the levels then I would recommend you to do Defender of Varrock so that you can train on armored zombies. If not then Bandits is a good second.

These are what I use: Yaks/Ghouls. Yaks are always crowded, so, ghouls are not even close to crowded. Ghouls require little food, but they have the same hp as yaks(50) which means, the same exp!

If you care about drops, then fire giants or cockroache soliders.
You can kill 'em at a fast pace.

Bandits are good too, as suggested.
