1. The Item Database
First and foremost, the item database needs more items sent in! There are more than 4,000 items in RuneScape, and we have just over 1,100 right now. EVERYONE is more than welcome to post new items that aren't in there already; simply run a quick search in the database to make sure your item isn't in there, and record the requested info about it. If each of the active members here sent in an item each week, we would have all of the items added in no time! ALL items need to be added too - from quest items to weapons, to items that have no real use in the game. Keeping the database updated is just as important as submitting things too. If you see some out of date or missing info, please post it in the DB corrections board!
The same goes for the Monster and NPC databases -- we need more submitters!
2. Maps Need Fixing
A TON of maps on the site are either outdated, or contain colors like red and green which are difficult for colorblind people to use. Many guides also refer to these colors on the maps. The largest offenders are the city guides. Any maps such as these should be redone using easy to read numbers (big enough to easily see, and in white). Of course, the guides need to be reworked a bit (the subsections should be numbered, and references to colors should be removed). These should be posted in the Corrections forum. This topic has a list of maps that need to be remade.
3. Treasure Trails Guide
The Treasure Trails Guide is an ongoing project to collect all of the clues and answers for our upcoming TT database-guide (yes, a database that's also a guide!). The more people who submit, the sooner we can get this thing added to the site!
4. Reporting "Broken" Guides
I admit, *some* guides on the site (particularly in the quest guide section) are very old and inaccurate because of past updates in the game. If you come across a guide that is very inaccurate, hard to follow, or misses important info in numerous places, please make sure you post it in the Guide Rewrite Request topic. This gives other members who enjoy writing guides the opportunity to rewrite it and prevent the same issue from happening to other players.
And if you would like to rewrite a guide, check out that topic as well -- there's a list of guides (which will be updated shortly) that need to be rewritten, and ideas for guides that need to be rewritten are being tossed around in there too.
5. Reporting Incorrect Info
In some guides (like skill guides), the general idea is accurate, but certain bits and pieces are missing or inaccurate (like the tabled information). These guides don't need to be totally rewritten, but the info should be updated. All updated info should be posted in the Corrections board. This goes for things like calculators too!

Hopefully this helps give an idea of some of the things that you can help with to make the site better. And if you have any suggestions to add to the list, feel free to post!
