I like the default look. I got iStat menus, so I can check my memory, CPU, and temperature. I enabled fast user switching, so that's what the guy in the top right corner is doing there.

Originality: 9/10. Haven't seen anything like it, but all the icons are defaults.
Organization: 8/10. You got your browsers in 1 row and your messagers in another. Move your recycle bin below the rest of the microsoft icons and put all your game shortcuts on the bottom row.
Style: 6/10. The yahoo mail widget throws it off, but i do like the background. You should consider removing the Network Places icon so your CCleaner isn't all alone on that row.

Overall: Average of 7.6 so i give you an 8/10.

Here is mine.

You may have to click it a few times for the full screen because i use 1280*800 resolution. All of my icons, except Flash drive, Site builder, and chat, are strategicly placed with similar programs. I use all of my icons frequently and it saves time loading the Desktop than the All Programs. I also love my background - I've been using this one for the whole semester when i usually change monthly.

Edit: @acid. There is a game from 1998 called Wargames which got the idea from the 80s movie with the same name. There is some good music from the game, so I have a folder with all the songs. I really should put it in my music folder; don't know why it's still on my desktop. I only have desktop icons for programs i use all the time. Everything else goes in my Start menu. I don't see a point in customizing my theme to mimic Vista, or get a 30 trial for some other theme; i've already tried that and it's annoying to remove.

Style: 7/10 - The taskbar is quite an ugly colour, and I'd go for something more better.
Neatness: 9/10 - Not many files on the desktop, it's in a nice row and the programs thing at the bottom isn't too intrusive.

Darn, and here I thought I was being original by making my XP look like Vista.

Oh well. I eliminated all the icons from the desktop, and replaced them all with the toolbar at the top. I'm teetering back and forth between no toolbar, and toolbar, so maybe some people can help me decide. Overall though, I'm very proud of my desktop. It's very neat and I think the desktop (Space Odyssey FTW) goes well with the Vista theme.

Wow, what a gorgeous desktop. I haven't seen many Mac desktops that make me say wow. That wallpaper is just amazing. Although I would try to eliminate those two icons on the desktop. I don't know if you can, I don't know much about Macs, but if you could, I think that would make it even better.
