$300 USD to buy a phone, which should I get?

Which cell phone provider is most reliable to you? (Verizon, Sprint, etc)

Avoid buying phones that everyone has (e.g. Chocolate, Razr, Krzr) because in a year people will be like "omg ew y du u hav dat fone stil lol"

I recommend any Sony Erricson phone though.

I have the w810i and it's an amazing phone for mid-range category, and a great MP3 player too. That link is the unlocked version, if you get it locked with a provider you could get it a lot cheaper.

Also get a 2gig (or 4gig or 8gig if you have the money) memory stick for it, so you can store more music.

I have one and the picutre quality is VERY Good. And it supports Mini or Micro SD i can't remember which. with an Mp3 player, radio, all the essentials you need, and imo, it looks quite stylish

The smart thing i like is i can put my .doc and .ppt Files on it and the phone can read them, aswell as .pdf

edit: On mine it has a smart theme (if you get it, yours should to) where the background changes dependant on what country you are in (IE: England; Big ben, France; Eifell tower) and at night time, It shows the Monument/Building at night time, and when theres no signal there are just fields

The 4gig iPhone just dropped too 300 USD I suggest snatching it up. It will be gone soon.

its recalled i think, apple slashed 200 from the 8GB and took away all the 4 GBS from the stores and is that a touch screen goat?

they didnt recall it as far as i know they made a new ipod and new ipod nano and are makngina a ipod touch i would get a iphone if you want at&t

the sony erricsson w580i is a goof fone its small too. keep away from the novelty phones as they normally go faulty

I recommend getting a basic $50 motorolla phone. Cell phones with pic/vid capibilities don't match the quality of an actual digital camera. Why waste $300 on something that you can eaily drop and damage?

I recommend getting the cheapest Nokia. Not sure about America, but Nokia make the best quality here, sure they aren't as flashy as some others, but they make good quality, hard waring phones which are very stable. They cost about $30+ here.

yeah i have a great nokia and would recommend all the phones that cost alot break eays i bought a £250 one and it broke so i got my nokia one and bought some new games with eaxtra money

POSITIVES
Nokia- Cheap, long lasting battaries, very durable, can do basic procedures
Sony Ericsson- Cheap(some), good battery life, pretty durable. great looks, very easy menus

NEGATIVES
Motarola- Horrible menus, not so good battery life, expensive
Nokia- Some ugly phones, Battery Problems(exploding battery range), large for size

My opinion would be to get the Sony Ericsson Z550i, my brother has it, and his an expert at phones, go to gsmarena and look up Z550i.

Uglyness is purely opinion, I don't find Nokia phones ugly at all

As for Sony Ericsson, they would be my second choice after Nokia. My brother also has one, and it is a great phone. $300 would pick a nice one up too.

If you go with At&t.The iPhone is only $200 USD now.
