i think its a good idea, i almost got one for free meh but its only $40 and its a good advantage in FPS games.

the timber wolf i think is a oversized keyboard rather have them separate so i dont need a FPS gaming thing sticking out of my keyboard!

i think i would hate this first because all the buttons are different, and because its so darn small. i cant play when keys are close together

:)the whole point is that u dont need to shift ur hand around to look for keys. i played|tried to play with it. its a bit hard cause the space bar is vertical. u just have to adjust to it.

I prefer standard keyboards--no reason to have one of those. I'm sure its all fine and grand, but there's a reason so many people swear by standard keyboards and mice to play FPS...

wats the reason people swear to use standard keyboard and mice? well the WSVG doesnt think so cause they brought in those so players could use them. well lots of people used them for ghost recon and stuff like CS but not for WOW and RTS games.

the numbers are for switching weapons. its a fps keyboard strictly for gaming not typing.

We swear to the keyboard and mouse because we are so used to them... we have setup our favorite configurations for every game which makes us faster and better. I've looked at some of the Belkin keyboard-like controllers, but every controller I have seen is horrible compared to my standard keyboard. The keys stick and are heavy compared to my reliable keyboards that I basically hand-pick...

u just have to adjust to them, btw whats ur keyboard? well i have a normal keyboard [above standard] just a extra dynamic search and zoom and a LCD monitor for time. i know its hard to accept but some of the people ur playing against could have these! it is a bit werid lol 2 ctrl buttons and stuff.

I am quite fine with my standard keyboard. I am very well adjusted to the keys and hitting the spacebar or any other key is just fine. If you are having troubles reaching a key, then adjust the game controls to use a different key for that option. I think the presented keyboard is ugly and for that alone i'll never spend money on purchasing one.

I have an older wireless keyboard from Logitech, compliments of Gateway. I don't own a gateway, but we got it somehow--it was free which is great. Funny thing is the keyboard is great--I've not needed to replace the batteries in several months. ANyways--it's a standard keyboard that you have seen on basically every PC since the 80s. Only real complaint about newer keyboards is the 3-tall by 2-wide insert/home/delete/end/page up/page down or the utter lack of an insert key. I don't get whey they don't like INS... but I use it quite often while typing and I map stuff to it... one of my games requires it for energy controls.

Anyways--standard keyboards c. 2005 are the best.

On my desktop I still have the keyboard that came with my desktop... and I still pwn in CQBs... I wonder why.. could it be my crappy keyboard or could it actually be tactics?
I don't actually mind if someone I'm playing against has one of these keyboards. I mean who actually cares if they die in a game or who cares about their K/D ratio? It's just a game...

Mind you not everyone would spend most, if not all, their money on gaming. Gaming for me is just like a little stress relief.

Standard Keyboard + Standard mouse is my personnal best combo .

I personally wouldn't want to use that keyboard to game. We are all used to the standard keyboard. We have it all setup how we like it. I personally dont like the idea of gaming on a round keyboard thing.

can u post a pic of this standard keyboard? cause i have one except that mine has a LCD monitor on the top and a dynamic search thingy on the left. i dont actually use these to pwn people i just use it to scroll fast for webpages when im tired of the wheel. and i use the LCD to see what time it is cause games are full screen and i cant see the time. ya my mouse is a bit better though cause its wireless and has 2 scroll wheels which i do use in games; top for switch weapons and one by thumb for zoom on sniper rifle.

Two things:

standard keyboard = qwerty keyboard
wireless mouse = not good

More "lag" between when you click and when your click is registered. I've never noticed a problem for myself, but pros only use wired mice.

me neither well thats why i have a high precision gaming mouse, wireless and i charge it every night for those battery people lol i always charge it to the max.

i use a wierd mouse becuase there more reliable when you need them also i dont play games on my compuer i desgin websites on it. So i need something i can type fast on and a simple mouse.

I received no noticeable lag when doing normal stuff, but then never play games.

I imagine this keyboard to malfunction when new key standards are developed based on standard QUERTY keyboards, or developers use a bigger range of keys..

Looks cool and is creative, bit I think I'll stick with the regular keyboard.
