it beams video input on a surface.
so if you connect your computer on it, it beams your screen on, lets say, your wall. (in big)

I have a 17" TFT and a 12.1" on my laptop. 17" is plenty big enough, and I see no reason to get a bigger monitor.

17" CRT. Generally at 1024x768x32, 85hz. I sometimes put it to 1280x1024, though thats not quite as often.

Thanks for the information, but I think brains have the capability of determining 24 > 17, thanks anyways.
I have a 17" 1440:900:32 screen.

Since when was big better?
I lived with a 15" CRT for years.
Upgraded to a 17" LCD.

Yeah same here, and its used in my school. They mount it at the top of the wall, (so we don't break it *cough*) and it beams any work that the teacher has on there laptop which we may need to see.
I have a Fujitsu-Siemens CTM5010 15` LCD/TV monitor which I have had for over five years now. I have never any problems with it. It also has some weird "Energy Emissions TCO 99" certificate which I think means its eco-friendly

I wouldn't mind tri-monitors, would take some getting used to though - atleast getting used to dual-monitors did for me.

I only have two--two 17" CRTs on a glass desk. I'm looking to get rid of them... I'm not using one because the glass is scratched up from my sister, and the other is heavier, bigger, but overall better. If I can afford a LCD monitor, I'd definitely get it. That, or get one as a gift.
