XP MCE comes under XP. Shall I add Server 2003 SBS, Server 2003 Standard, Server 2003 Datacenter, Server 2003 Enterprise and then all the different version of XP and Vista? I think not.

Windows 98 and stable should never be put in the same sentence as each other.

Don't buy a Vista! They have so many bugs right now.Wait a while until Microsoft fixes all of the kinks. If I remember correctly the XP had problems when it first came out also.

Name'em.
Name the ones which actually affects how the computer operates. And all OSes will have problems when they come out.
Most of the people I know have switched to vista and I haven't heard too much complaints from them. I haven't ran into any major bugs or problems yet.. and I've been using it since November or December (think it was November 8th..got the DVD on like the 10th). When the RTM came out *before* any other retail stores had it.

For me, Vista ran extraordinarily good for an OS still in development, I had to re-install one program which was basically the only problem it caused.

My favorite has always been pre-Win95 in the form of Windows 3.1. My first was an early version of DOS, followd by Win 3.1, Win95, Win98se, WinME, and WinXP. I currently have two machines that are plugged in and running--right now it's Win98se and WinXP, once I'm done with my new build you can add WinVi
