My 8 year old tv is acting like the tv from Poltergiest, next its gonna suck me in

I press power on, it doesnt work. I go about my buisness and 20 min later it turns on and white fuzz comes on for about 3 seconds. I think its dead, all the cords are hooked up properly, so idk.

Suggestions?

Ask your parents if it is worth it more to take it into a shop for repairs or to put money into a newer television. This board is for computer help which would be problems with your computer system, not for televisions.

Srry i looked at all the topics and general chat and this one were the sensible ones.

It was like $300, its only like a 40 in, but back in 1999 they weren't that cheap.

Im gonna suggest getting a flat screen, its Mubar'ed (changed from bad word: Messed up beyond all repair)
