I'm going to plug my USB Flash Drive into a USB to PS/2 converter for a USB mouse and then plug the PS/2 part into the back of the computer. What do you think will happen? I'm going to try it tomorrow (Monday).

Just like when plugging in an unrecognized component into any other slot, nothing will happen. It'll get power but it won't work and it won't harm it. Very few things you plug in can really cause harm just by plugging it in.

I should have put this in Polls & Surveys. The people in Tech Discussion aren't very imaginative.

I voted for what I hope will happen.

I think it'll recognise it as a mouse dongle. Then you can use the lid of the USB flash drive as a miniature mouse
No, seriously, I doubt anything will happen, even though it'd be great if it did something

It will damage the time space continuum so badly that we all turn into algae eating cows.
