Stobbo
Cheap 700mb CD's work for me.
Raz
Normally just cheap 700mb ones.
Bub
You actually spent $469.99+ on a Blu-Ray DVD burner / player? blink.gif

I use my USB flash drive the most. CDs come in second place, then finally DVDs.
Bob-sama
Cheap 700mb CDs, occasionally cheap 4.7GB DVD-Rs. Never used HD DVD or BluRay--and I'll be holding out until it's decided like VHS v. BetaMax and DVD v. DivX.
Ihatebacon56

No USD.

50 Pack for £4 or $8
50 Pack of HP Discs for £5.50 or $11

Approximate prices, the HP ones might be £5.44 or something like that, can't remember exact prices - but it gives a general idea.

Shipping is $5 for the $8 ones, and $8 for the $11 ones.

But that shipping is per order, and as I spend up to around $150 per order, it doesn't add much. When, I am busy I might be ordering once every few weeks, so I just add the CD's to the order.

4.7GB Dvd'd and normal CD's it will take some time until HD-DvD and Blu-Ray get standard. there is no game, program etc. which needs 25GB at the moment blink.gif

I know enough 4.7GB+ games, though two DVD disks should do for those. tongue.gif

I'm siding with HD-DVD for now, mainly because I dislike sony (excluding psp tongue.gif). But there is also a sub-$200 hd-dvd player on the market (thank you diggnation). Also, isn't 25gb overkill? tongue.gif

EDIT:oshi 50gb

My Sonic program needs 4.7GB discs tongue.gif
I want to use 700MB but cannot...

25GB is good if u have a HD video camera and then the most u get out of those HDs is 30 GB so yeah u might not even fill up the HD. sad.gif

I usually use either normail 4.7GB DVDs or 800MB CDs. I've never used a 700MB one though.

Ah!

Lightscribe, 9.4GB DVDs for me!

Your question is vague though. Obviously, I'll use more CDs than DVDs. But my laptop can make what I wrote above tongue.gif.

how much are the 800MB CDs? what is lightscribe? describe how u use lightscribe, never used it ever before.

I don't think blu ray is built for computers.

It's an HD format, and if you want to put HD on your PC it will take an unbelievable amount of time.

Lightscribe DVDs can be labeled by special Lightscribe DVD burners, like mine.

Blu ray = epic fail. Theres no point in getting blu ray imho. I probally use dvds the most, for backup etc etc. Then Cd-rs for music.

Sorry, I set a pile of money on fire yesterday. Don't take me for an idiot, because I'm not one. HD isn't a social class, by the way.

BluRay isn't for [massive]HD[/massive] it's for data storage, it's an OPTICAL DISK.

wikipedia: A Blu-ray Disc (also called BD) is a high-density optical disc format for the storage of digital information, including high-definition video.
