My current laptop is always freezing, and it is 8 years old. I Will be getting a new computer before or for christmas. I was wondering what kind of laptop should i get? Here are the reqs.

~ Not slow.
~i can play runescape on it, or download swiftshift, and it still wont be slow.
~Under 800 dollars.
~Good memory
~ An OK Video card

Just Runescape? That's pretty low lolz..

Well I used to play the sims 2, But that would make it much too slow. Also, there is hardly anyother online games that are addicting like runescape. I will also play Guild Wars. I will use my computer for school mostly too. And FYI, your post was spam.

any new computer probably, you are not asking for any complicated thing or anything and the RAM you need is about 512 which is what most computers have if not more than that but yea any computer will do

He can go to the Dell site and pick out one of the basic Inspiron 530 or 531 desktops (They always come with at least 1gb of DDR2 memory and sometimes they give 2gb free), and pick out a decent video card in the high Nvidia 7k range or a Nvidia 8600 GT.

If you want a laptop, just pick anything on the Notebook Inspiron range thats under $800, or go for an HP laptop. I personally used to own one myself and it was quite fast and lasted long.

Ok. JUst if you wanted to know, my Current computer is a HP pavilion ze4300.


And really, It only freezes when i get on runescape. Do you think i have a virus?

Just customize it to what you want. You can keep it under 800$ easily.

Have you installed the latest Java update? Have you scanned your computer to make sure there are no viruses?

If you've done all those things and nothing has worked, you can try a Selective startup, by disabling the programs that dont need to be started up, the computer will run somewhat faster.

Btw-My computer froze yesterday, when i wasnt on it, my internet was just sitting there for about an hour.
