Well, child, there is basically nothing you really can do anymore--if you can still find an AT power supply, that might work, but it's basically a lost cause. The power supply was too dusty--by turning it on, you started to burn the dust incredibly fast causing that puff of black smoke. Trust me--there's nothing to really do with it. If you're really a computer person, you could salvage some of it (heck--the floppy, some cables, maybe the hard drive). Anyways--if it's not on regularly, most computers will build up a dangerous amount of dust.
I'm still looking for the comment where he actually asks for help on fixing this comptuer. He was just telling a story. "After all, this is the Tech Discussion." He was not asking for assistance. Keep your snobbish comments to yourself.
