You need to get 3 electives to become a MCP. Get two more electives like CompTIA N+ and S+ then take Microsoft's 70-270 (the Windows XP test). It really depends on what like to do with computers, but that's what I'm going to do, and I already have a few out of the way.
A lot of people are getting "paper certified" so it's making the tests worthless. They study and get the certification but then they can't even fix a computer. Experience is worth more than any test you can take. If you check out jobs, they always say, "must have at least x years of experience" so you really need to get a job at a local PC shop if you're old enough. Once you have some experience, you can start making good money.

Another thing is they're teaching A+ in High School now. That class wasn't offered a few years ago in schools. It also contributes to making the A+ test worthless. If thousands of teens have A+ think about how it makes System Administrators look. It's great you got your A+, but you still have a long way to go to be able to get a good paying job.
If you need some material to help you study check out
http://examcollection.com/ It's the best test simulator out there and it has the exact same questions on it that the real test has. You will need to get the Visual Cert Exam program to open the files. The program has a 30 day trial, but there's a patch out for it.
