just a few questions

can you go on any website with the safari? like sals forum or are you restricted to youtube?

what does it mean by comes with youtube?

does it have the same wifi thingy as a normal laptop so you can connect with "wifi" like at the library?

can you download files to the hard drive though safari and then copy them onto your computer?

are their ads for itunes cause of the wifi? like say you have 1 song from a album and it gives you pop ups or ads for the rest of the album?

Apple never has any creativity. The iPod Touch is just an iPhone without the phone. I mean people will get it because it has WiFi and you connect to the Internet wirelessly. I would prefer my PSP and iPod Classic ( don't have yet. I asked for it for Christmas). One plays games and connects to the Internet. The other plays videos and music.

You do realize that you didn't even have to Google this?
1.) Any site
2.) It has a nifty special program for watching YouTube videos, separate from safari.
3.) Duh. Its "normal" Wi-Fi or no Wi-Fi.
4.) songs and whatnot, yes, otherwise, not sure.
5.) Ich spreche Englisch, tut mir leid.

I wasn't agreeing on that you said they had creativity. I was just throwing my two cents in. THe +1 means I agreed with you on what you said. Then I said my opinion.

Google can answer all of these, aswell as apple's website..
Do you even try? seriously.

I was using an iPod Touch the other day, so, because you're too lazy to google something, i'll answer these questions for you.

QUOTE

Can you go on any website through FireFox or Internet Explorer? I hope so. Safari is Internet Explorer for Macs, except safer and better.

QUOTE
what does it mean by comes with youtube?

It comes with YouTube... meaning, pre-installed accessories for YouTube browsing.

QUOTE

WiFi is basically wireless internet access. If you can connect to the internet wirelessly, so can the touch! oh my!

QUOTE

Do I seriously have to answer this? Every time you visit a webpage, you download the information so you can view it (on any computer). Of course you can download stuff.

I've used it, played around with it, and it's really like Windows Vista or Alienware. Paying too much for too little.

i mean like download .rars and .zips directly to the ipod touch's harddrive for latter movage to PC.

and can you get viruses on a ipod touch?

i know its designed for finger touch but can you use a stylus too?

so apple has a "virtual" keyboard for you to type in cause not all sites have a virtual keyboard.

iPod, iPod touch, iTv, whatever.
It's all APPLE software, which means, iPod Touch is running an operating system (just like psp, ipod, etc) that's specially made for the hardware. So, this is a type of OSX made just for iPod Touch. Again, all this could be found by looking on
GOOGLE. With the right software and editing tools, you can make the iPod touch do whatever you wish. All through the beauty of linux programming. I won't provide you any links, until you start using google. And Hatred, could you answer me this: Why don't you use google? I've noticed a large percentage of you're threads and posts are uneducated guesses or questions. You've heard of people "hacking" the DS/iPod right? It's called Linux, and I'm on it right now.

Hey here's an interesting carrier path: I found a forum that paid some guy 500$ to find a way to make a firewire adapter to the DS.

Well, you got a button to turn it on, a button to return to the main menu, and all the rest is touch-screen. It's really self-explanitory. You can also zoom in/out by moving two fingers away from/closer to each other.

And yes, they do.

Most PDA-like devices have a web browser. My PDA has one, and I don't really use it that much. It's just not capable of what I do most with them; foruming. Not even the iPhone, I can gaurantee you. wink.gif

Anyways, it's sad that the iPhone has so little expandability options. I've downloaded tons of games for my iPAQ PDA (Windows Mobile 5), and now I can play my favourite games, listen to my music and check my e-mail in the bus, and it's even got built in phone! wub.gif Yes, it doesn't look as good as the iPhone, and it's got a smaller, single-touch screen, but it's fantastic for general purpose! biggrin.gif

Yes, ofcourse. But it's not the same. The controls are small, and even typing a relatively short post like this would take ages. Not to mention that browsing would be a lot harder.

It's a lot more than $5 a month. Here in Holland, atleast. Plus, the iPhone's already ridiciulously expensive without internet.

Maybe when you're used to typing with one hand/finger, but I type blind with two hands, and I don't see myself doing that on such a small surface.

It's 5 bucks a month for my cell.

I type with two hands, semi- blind, but I am also proficient with dual thumbs, single thumbs, hunt-and-peck, single pointer typing, and full-blind typing. Not many gadgets intimidate me.

What are you saying guys? The iPhone is the BEST! Since it was released in the US, it has caused so many people to become happy! Plus people have had one network, or the best one. Cingular's edge network. Which is like the best network, along with the best compatibility features. Oh it has the largest screen ever, great for watching a movie, because it can only store so many

Piece of s***

Now to sell that for $600 freaking dollars. You must be a f***ing moron to buy that, let alone the bull that is the iPod Touch

I spent a few months getting money to buy one, and eventually did.

I yelled at the genius apple technician to take it back.

I had to pay about $175 to terminate my contract.
