Well, since the other topic is old. I thought I'd start this one.

So, wich is better? Tap or bottled?

I drink both, to me they are the same.

I can't describe or define this preference, I just prefer tap water.

Tap water is less expensive and less wasteful.

Tap water is more environmentally friendly - no plastics included.

Bottled water is tap water. o.O It's not supposed to be but several large companies were busted and sued.

I prefer tap. I don't kill the Earth with plastic.

(On a side-note, what is so bad about plastic? I know its bad, but whats bad about it?)

Anyways, I just drink water out of my refrigerator. (It's actually pretty good ) (sp?)

Refrigerator water can be detrimental to your health. It's melted ice from your freezer, which has been lying next to meat and other products. I'd suggest you to reconsider.

Meh, we store meat in the refrigerator part of the fridge. Not the freezer. (I don't drink water very much anyway so... )

I know they don't taste different, but there's a little something, that makes the bottled water more refreshing. But I would use tap water, since it is cheaper and more environmentally friendly. Tap Water .

For some reason, I don't like water. It doesn't really have a taste to it, nor a smell.

I'm going with tap on this one, yay for the environment!

It's extra-filtered by that sorta brita filter.

My tap water is naturally filtered and machine filtered so its as clean as it can get. Bottled water is expensive and just not worth it. I mean yeah if I'm going out somewhere I may buy a water bottle but if I'm at home tap all the way.

Tap water is more convenient. Unless you're going on a trip or something, it is sorta pointless in my opinion. Random memory: My dad used to know this girl that he dated who drank bottled water, didn't eat meat, and smoked obsessively.

Well where I live we basically have no water...but I drink tap water.

Bottled waters plastics contain toxins...

Tap water costs no money, and from what I remember they don't filter harmful bacteria from bottled.

I think i would drink tap water, cause you do not have to pay each time you want it, and it's not wrapped in plastic.

I buy bottled and fill them with tap when I'm done.

^Haha. I do the same thing, only I use pop bottles since my mom recycles the water bottles (still don't see any logic in only recycling water bottles... ... but it works for me! )

It's made from crude oil, and polutes the enviroment both in it's production and in the bottles being thrown away.

I like tap water, bottled is just a waste of money.

Bottle water i think is better only because Tap water makes me sick, most likely because i never really drank it.

It's the same thing but it is filtered thousands of miles away from you, in a different municipal filtration plant. Different municipal filters so it's basically the same but they both use different filtration and chlorine levels.

botled tastes better imo, but its too expensive to buy, i still drink it all the time beacuse my parents buy it
