iPod Touch is amazing. I've been using it for so long. The capabilities with custom *nix installs is great!

I don't think i'll be getting anything directly related to my computer. The only tech related items on my list this year are CDs and DVDs. I am a bit of a collector of CDs so purchasing songs online doesn't do me justice.

I'm getting a phone, the Sony Ericsson K800i - arguably it is Tech related.

Our limit is sensibility--and it's for a new computer. Market value? $180 for the HD3850, $50 for the RAM, $75 for the HDD, $111 for Vista, and $40 for the case.

I want to get an Xbox 360. That's really the only technology thing I want.. Well, if I get a 360 I also want an extra controller or two and some games.

I expect to get nothing good. My parents don't ever spend hundreds of dollars on presents for me, and that's kind of reasonable. I'd rather not have everything I want now and then later in life expect to get anything I want for no work. I'll need to put in effort and get what I need myself. A 360 would still be awesome though.

Now y'all think that I'm probably from a rich family--that's not anywhere near the case. In short, as you can see in my signature, I'm building a computer (yes, still) and I have about $500 left to spend--and my mom was going to give me $400 more (which would be spent on those parts) and I was going to toss in $100--and it's quite possible that my uncle will add a bit to the pile (as he is the person who usually buys me tech stuff). Anyways--it'll be the first new computer that I have since... oh, about... 2002?

Hopefully a newer version of Adobe Photoshop (I'm only running v7.0 now), a RAM upgrade to around 1GB, perhaps some new songs for the iPod. If I'm really lucky, a new DVD reader for my laptop because the old one broke now (I always break them )

I know I won't get anything but I still secretly hope for a 2GB thumbdrive or an mp3 player... Or at least some cash with which I can save up to get them myself.

I was thinking of getting a k800i but was wondering if it is going to be a bit outdated and should maybe go for the k810i or k850 but the k800 is definitly within the ammount I'd like to spend which is a plus

The thing that appealed to me is the value for money. For £120, I get a phone with a pretty good feature set and £40 free airtime - basically an £80 phone. No other phone matched that in value. If your interested, I bought it direct from Virgin Mobile on the internet - although it would be UK only.
