Does downloading really slow down your computer?Like I wanted to DL a PK vid(good ol' days hoping to recapture memories) from MEGAUPLOAD and I am wondering if it really slows down a computer.

I hear rumors of this,not sure if it's true.

Depends how big the file is, and where your going to store it.
But generaly speaking, no.
but if your running say a windows 98 your looking at an easy crash or major lagg.
Windows xp/vista should handle it fine if you have a reasonable amount of memory left.

EDIT: I don't know of this MEGAUPLOAD site, but I know if you download them off of Google Vid they don't take up much space and their in .avi form so you can put em on your iPod or PSP

It'll may slow your internet down while downloading, but it shouldn't effect the computer.
