
Once you have the "Run" window open type in regedit & hit "Ok"

Once you have hit "Ok" you should come to this window

Now that you are in the Registry Editor, double click the folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. It should look somthing like this

Now to bring up the list of software you have installed on you computer, simply double click "Software", now the Registry Editor should now look like this

Okay, depending on what game's product key you are looking for you might need to look for a different name to what I am show you, for example if your looking for Warcraft you will look for Billzard but I'm Dawn Of War so I am click on THQ. So the Registry Editor should look like this. In short double click on the folder named after the company that made the game

Lastly, one you have found the company that make's the game double click on the folder named after the game.
