A small chuckle--my $41 ValueRAM gets a higher Vista rating than yours. I have a 5.5 base score (5.7 CPU, 5.5 RAM, 5.9 Vista Performance, 5.9 Graphics, and 5.6 HDD).

Anyways--nice computer. I would personally not have went with that particular case, but then again cases, keyboards, and mice are all personal preference. Yepp--nice computer. Oh and watch out with the Q6600 on nForce 680i motherboards... those boards don't support quads that well as it is. What motherboard is it?

Wow... awesome computer... o.o
Carbon-14
That's pretty some sick specs, but I don't know of Q6600 would have been the wisest choice - especially with 45nm Penryn coming out in a few months.
z0ultan
Wow, love it

Nevermind:

How much did it cost you?
Archelaus
Nice. Especially the blue LED's. How much was it?
firebomb148
the total cost was 2,400 , it didnt take me very long to save it up lol, 2 -3 months at most, but it was worth it for getting rid of the piece i had earlier tongue.gif

I wouldn't have purchased the exact myself--but that's because 95% of E2140s go to 3GHz (where I am, after a few days) and they're $75... and the Yorkfield processors will be out in 1Q2008, as well as the 790i chipset (real upgrade to 680i... 780i is 680i plus a PCI Express 2.0 helper chip). As I said before, still pretty good system.

Forget the 8800ultra choice smile.gif lol new 8800gts > 8800ultra. Difference is 11% and a lot of money. Still for now the builds pretty solid, it should last just get outdated fast smile.gif.

The G92 GTS is better than the GTX on resolutions up to 22", the Ultra still beats the GTS.

I am getting a new one, not as nice as yours though.
Dedaw
Haha.. very nice computer biggrin.gif I am now officially envious of you. I need to upgrade some of the stuff on mine(it's my first build and only two months old). 2 GB RAM is more than enough, I've never used more than my 2 GB, and upgrading is as simple as slamming another set in, which are hideously cheap nowadays. smile.gif

Even worse you'd be overpaying by 33%. You can grab some inexpensive 2*1GB kits or even a 1*2GB kit for $45 total online.

Thats a $9 difference, which is negligible.

My RAM cost $41. The difference is ~50% over my cost or 67% the $50 kit. Anyways--lowest price I can find online for 2x1GB kits (DDR2 800) is $28 shipped and after a $10 MIR or $41 shipped. Yeah--RAM is that cheap.
