I have also heard many people say that VB6, VB2005 work fine with Vista

Great thanks. smile.gif I also had another look around Google and the general concencus seemed to say that 32 bit software is backwords compatible with 64 bit processors.

If I'm wrong though could someone please correct me. If a tech support member knows that the two are compatible then this can be closed.

Microsoft had some great learning experinces with Windows XP Pro 64bit version.
This means that any newer versions might be better than the XP version.

Although I don't know much about vista, 32-bit programs will usually run just a tad differently than expected. Error messages cannot be fixed so simply due to the fact that the computer runs on a completely different operating system.

But you are right. 32-bit programs WILL run on a 64-bit OS. Just, not as well.
Thats why there are some programs released for 64-bit Operating Systems.
