3. Any experience in this area? Yes, plenty. I have done a lot of sprite comics, hand drawns, and although it is quite childish I pass a few of my written-down puns during class

"ogm. dis is kwl. " - Noob
(A level 89 is hanging around with some of his friends.)

(Noob walks over to Level 89.)

"o_O I'm a man." - Level 89
"Yes you ARE! **raises eyebrows**" - Noob
"Uh. Okay." (Turns to friends) "Come on guys, world 71?" - Level 89
"Sure." - Noob
(Turns back to noob) "You aren't a member." - Level 89
"Anything for you, my sweet." - Noob
(Silence for one panel.)
"It's only $5." - Level 89

I can't accept your application unless you provide an actual comic strip. Since comic strips are what you'll be doing on the paper, you'll need a comic strip example. If you can make one, post it when you can. If not, then I'll have to decline this.

It looks pretty good. Although it isn't like Dr Lento's comics that the newspaper usually has, I think your work is newspaper quality.

Sidenote: This is little, but if you can, crop the edges of your comic.

@Prashanna: I'm sorry I tried to make the humour a tad more obvious, but it's hard to direct the comedy to one single panel when there is (five?) in it.. The main idea was that he cries out peace, but the Dutch haven't a clue what he's saying.

I like the comic style, the difference to the comic norm is refreshing. I'd advise cutting down on the l337 speak. Sometimes trying to read that can be distracting from the point of the coimc, and doesn't allow the humor to show.

Apart from that, try using a black pen to outline the comics. A black fine liner is great to use for this. Blue outlining is a bit...odd

I really can't find any flaws with his humor. It is quite obvious and not subtle, that may be just it for you guys. I happened to chuckle myself.

The drawing is pretty good, and the humor is all right, but I think you can improve.
