I bought it for $700 CND from Future Shop on Boxing Day.

Care to tell us HOW you are going to update a laptop's graphics card?

You're gonna have to do some major surgery and replace the whole chipset unsure.gif

I can't talk much crap but, how would you upgrade your video card? It's integrated in with your RAM.
And Vista? I like XP much better. Just because it LOOKS better, doesn't mean it is. I mean, just look at the American Car Companies. laugh.gif

Anyways, I too own a HP laptop. Only, I kicked Microsoft out, and let in the glory of Linux.

But, overall, not bad for only 700CND.
The one I own costed me 200$, but only because it's a hand-me-down. Original price was 400$ with an educational discount (The guy is a teacher).

My specs are:

Well if you decide to install ubuntu your going to be limited to what games you can play. However laptop is usually generally for work/internet etc so you may be ok smile.gif. Most of the stuff is fairly simple to do, and there's a lot of community support.

You are going to have to learn a lot though tongue.gif at some point or another. However you should find most tasks fairly easy.
