Well my Hp computers battery wasnt working so I had to return it. The Hp computer was exactly like this except I bought it at frys.
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8223068
I cant rebuy it right now because they are out of stock The total was $1,344 inlcuding tax with a 3 year warranty. So I am looking for a computer that has the same price but better specs. If you cant find it I will just buy the same one.
redmonke
This one looks good, has faster processor, bigger screen, but with less space on the hard drive (160, but do you really need all that?) and only 2gb of RAM. Should fit right in your budget.

I think that one is good. I don't think you'll need more memory than that slanty.gif

All I could find. You should be able to play some good games on it, too.
farbods0
Needs to be intel and have to have a 3 year warranty. Also would be really good if it was at a store so I could just pick it up

Wait...why does it need to be intel? This one is much faster than the other...
farbods0
Because my dad for some strange reason will only let me buy a computer with intel i know its weird
Acid
Well on the walmart website there's only two i would suggest;

-Sony VAIO (14.1")
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7763155
-HP pavilion(15.4")
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7779591

I particularly like that model of the Sony VAIO because its bright pink
Game wise their not serious gaming laptops, but it could eat up a fair few games.

P.S. The one redmonke255 pointed out is actually a pretty good laptop for the price. I would suggest it over this one but its up to you.
farbods0
It does not have to be from walmart if its not from walmart it would be even better. I just used walmart because thats the only place where I coult find my laptop. I bought my own laptop from frys
redmonke
Only difference between intel and amd (as far as I know), is that amd runs a little hotter....

Can you ask your dad why he doesn't want amd?
farbods0
It doesnt really matter he won't change his mind. Can you just please help me find a laptop thats Intel
Stobbo
The Vaio is a cracking laptop, it might only have 2GB of RAM, but the extra processor power makes up for it.

I never liked Sony Vaios. They're the Macs of PCs (overpriced, stylish). But that model is okay.

If you have that much to spend, you can get a pretty nice laptop. Try NewEgg

I wouldn't actually say it is that overpriced. It is pretty good value in my opinion. pfft.gif

How are we supposed to find a store? We probably don't live anywhere near you. unsure.gif

Also, have YOU tried looking for some in nearby stores?

Sony VAIO VGN-FZ260E

Well dedicated video memory is pretty useful i guess. This model comes with a GeForce
8400M GT, which is a very good integrated graphics card. It also features a 2ghz core2duo processor, fast RAM, 250gig hard drive.

Its a very good laptop for gaming within your price range. Retails at $1,299.99
farbods0
wow thats alot and with a 3 year warranty would be like $1,600 thanks anywase

That is a VERY good deal for the price. You could knock of $76 by changing the processor slightly, of course, you wouldn't get as much performance, but it wouldn't be that different.

Is there an actual store where I can buy it because i have to get a computer at a store

Its the online store you need to buy it from. If your wanting to buy from a actual store which isn't online, then your unlikely to get as much for your money.

Not to mention a worse selection. unsure.gif

There were some great laptops I saw, but weren't in any stores by your area...So you're pretty limited on what you can get...
farbods0
Well at least you guys tried thanks
Skan
Well, if you don't mind your laptop being ugly as hell i recommend a Toshiba Satellite X205.

http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/pdet.t...amp;coid=-33936

It's a bit out of your budget but it comes with an even better 512mb dedicated graphics card the 8700M GT, huge 17' screen considering it's a laptop. The catch is the processor which is a slightly lower performance one but I doubt you would notice the difference.

It's at $1,449, which is reasonably priced.

Best of all, it is available at stores near you.

Retailers:
CLICK

Hope this helps. Good luck.
farbods0
hmm well thats to much i mean how much would it be with a 3 year warranty
Skan
No idea, but it comes with free 1 year warranty, on site parts and labour.
farbods0
Well Ill just buy my hp laptop again since I cant find anything for that price or lower
Skan
Oh well, there is the cheaper Satellite X200 but I don't think it's sold in the US. Shame.. it fits your budget perfectly.

Your HP laptop is awesome too, nothing wrong with going back to it.

I suggested it for that reason. tongue.gif I'd definitely buy it if I was looking for a laptop.

Farbod, it's highly unlikely that you'll find such a great deal at a store. Generally, you get quite a bit more for your money if you buy online. Ask your parents why they want you to buy from a store. If it's just you, then I highly recommend buying online.
