Well my Hp computers battery wasnt working so I had to return it. The Hp computer was exactly like this except I bought it at frys.
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8223068I cant rebuy it right now because they are out of stock The total was $1,344 inlcuding tax with a 3 year warranty. So I am looking for a computer that has the same price but better specs. If you cant find it I will just buy the same one.

Well on the walmart website there's only two i would suggest;
-Sony VAIO (14.1")
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7763155-HP pavilion(15.4")
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7779591I particularly like that model of the Sony VAIO because its bright pink
Game wise their not serious gaming laptops, but it could eat up a fair few games.
P.S. The one redmonke255 pointed out is actually a pretty good laptop for the price. I would suggest it over this one but its up to you.

Only difference between intel and amd (as far as I know), is that amd runs a little hotter....
Can you ask your dad why he doesn't want amd?

The Vaio is a cracking laptop, it might only have 2GB of RAM, but the extra processor power makes up for it.

I never liked Sony Vaios. They're the Macs of PCs (overpriced, stylish). But that model is okay.
If you have that much to spend, you can get a pretty nice laptop. Try

How are we supposed to find a store? We probably don't live anywhere near you.

Also, have YOU tried looking for some in nearby stores?

Sony VAIO VGN-FZ260EWell dedicated video memory is pretty useful i guess. This model comes with a GeForce
8400M GT, which is a very good integrated graphics card. It also features a 2ghz core2duo processor, fast RAM, 250gig hard drive.
Its a very good laptop for gaming within your price range. Retails at $1,299.99

That is a VERY good deal for the price. You could knock of $76 by changing the processor slightly, of course, you wouldn't get as much performance, but it wouldn't be that different.

Its the online store you need to buy it from. If your wanting to buy from a actual store which isn't online, then your unlikely to get as much for your money.

Not to mention a worse selection.

There were some great laptops I saw, but weren't in any stores by your area...So you're pretty limited on what you can get...

Well, if you don't mind your laptop being ugly as hell i recommend a Toshiba Satellite X205.
http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/pdet.t...amp;coid=-33936It's a bit out of your budget but it comes with an even better 512mb dedicated graphics card the 8700M GT, huge 17' screen considering it's a laptop. The catch is the processor which is a slightly lower performance one but I doubt you would notice the difference.
It's at $1,449, which is reasonably priced.
Best of all, it is available at stores near you.
Retailers:

Your HP laptop is awesome too, nothing wrong with going back to it.

I suggested it for that reason.

I'd definitely buy it if I was looking for a laptop.
Farbod, it's highly unlikely that you'll find such a great deal at a store. Generally, you get quite a bit more for your money if you buy online. Ask your parents why they want you to buy from a store. If it's just you, then I highly recommend buying online.
