basically im making playing cards with the ace king queen jack as fruit, to encourage children to eat healthily
so rate my fruit:

Linework is a bit messy in some places, but it looks good.

Maybe if you made it on flash or photoshop, then you could make it smooth and get some really great shading.

my teacher gave me instructions for it to be "jagged"

dry.gif Smooth pixel lines pwn joo. I wouldn't try AA yet, but anyways.

I love the cartoony look and style but you need to clean up the lines and add some shading. Good start.

Your teaher told you to be jagged? That doesn't make much sense.
Well anyways, you've got a major shadow issue here. Ever noticed that different shapes make different shaped shadows? Well yours are all circles!
It's cute as a project, but not good as a pixel. On v2 you only have one fruit actually shaded, and the shading is not even in the right places! Try checking out some of the pixel tutorials in the Pixel Tippery sticky on how to shade.
