1.Why I would like to join: I think it would be fun and I want to help contribute to the newspaper.
2. Desired section: Runescape Discussion
3. My experience: None
4. My example: With the release of the Grand Exchange (also known as the GE) in November, it has changed the way of trading altogether. You can now trade with anyone on any world, it doesn't matter if they are online or offline, and they can be anywhere in the world of Runescape. JaGeX said that the players controlled the prices, but some people think differently. Some people think that it really isn't controlled by the players, but by JaGeX. Many players are also noticing that some item's prices aren't priced correctly. For example, the price of yew longbows are priced at 704gp, while before the GE came they were at 600gp. These are not the exact prices, but they are close. As you can see, this is about a 100gp price increase. This means that fletchers and alchers are going to suffer because the alchers won't want to buy the yew longs at such a high price which means it will be hard for the fletchers to find a buyer. On the other hand, other items are priced correctly, such as law and death runes. These have not changed in price from what they were before the GE, making it not be a problem for buyers and sellers. It all depends on what you are doing and whether you are buying or selling to decide on how well the GE works and give your opinion on it.
