I've read the first five chapters, and they appear to be really good. It seems a bit odd that King Roald thought he was a vampire, but I'm sure you have an explanation for it. Just don't remember to tie that aspect of the plot up. Also, you need to make it more clear what Ken's intentions are, the clarity of it goes on and off.

Do not switch from past to present tense so often! You did this several times during the fourth and fifth chapters-you need to just stay with one or the other, preferably the present tense. Overall, though, it was definently an enjoyable read.

Anyway, I better get going. Ta-ta for now!
