Is there something in the profile page that displays if the user is a male or female?
No but when you're searching there is.

The blue colored in head is male and the pink one is female.

Blue is male,
Pink is female, Def
Transparent means it's not been set.

Click your name and look at the color of the little snow man guy. 
I think we could set them ages ago, I know I did but I think the feature got deleted or something.

No, that isn't there. It is only viewable on that drop-down menu by someone's name.
On the View Members Profile and View Memebers Blog is the thing we're talking about right?
