Approximately at 1000 AD, the Vikings came and discovered North America. This RP takes place right then. The Viking struggle against the Skraelings (natives) and live in the new world. This takes place not on Leif Ericcson's boat, but on a different boat. We get blown off course and land in Southern Newfoundland. This is where the adventure begins.
There are few different types of characters you can be. A Viking or a Skraeling. Really, who else was there?

IC: Bjorni looked across the water. Cold air crept down his spine. "Here we are - a new world." Said Bjorni.

IC: Sven walked over to Bjorni, "Well, we're going to the "New World" as the other berserkers call it." He said cheerfully. Little snowflakes started to fall onto Sven's hair. He was swinging his greatsword around happily. Soon, the little snowflakes turned into a snowstorm and Sven used his greataxe to find his way back to his room on the ship.

Great! Accepted. I'll add it.
IC: Bjorni went inside the small cabin. "This new land is as cold as Iceland." He said.

"I know," said Sven, shivering. He wrapped his thick cloak around him. He walked around the room trying to warm himself up.

IC: As the storm passed, Bjorni walked outside. The ship had only a few 100 yards to go before they would reach land. "Land Ho! Everyone up, prepare for land!" Bjorni yelled.

At this time, Leif Ericsson had already discovered Vinland.

Sven slowly walked out. "It's still pretty cold," he had to admit. But he did everything without complaining. "Ok, I'm ready!" he called from his cozy cabin.

IC: Bjorni stepped onto the land.
"As the first person to land here, (i think) I name this land Vinland, as Leif Ericsson would have called it."
OOC: We need more people.

IC: Sven said, "Do you think there's anybody on this island?"
OOC: We sure do

IC: "Maybe. No-one knows, until we set up a settlement here. Help me unload the cabin to make a land capin, will you?"

"Ok," Sven said. He helped Bjorni unload everything. "That's better, isn't it?" He walked around drawing a circle in the snow.

"Ja, I'd say it is. Now that we have the cabin, we should explore, at least a little bit. Sven, take some beserkirs and explore."
OOC: We can't really have a two person RP. We need someone to join.

OOC: Well nobody's joining.

IC: Sven said, "Ok, but if we don't come back within 2 hours, just say we're dead."

IC: "We're besirkirs. We can shrug off fire and iron alike. It will take a long time for us to die." Said Bjorni.

"True," said Sven. He led at least fifteen berserkers (including him which is 16). He drew his greatsword just in case anything happened.
