i was given the link a while back but then i decided not to use it but now i have changed my mind again

I know that the Auto-Gordian Knot is safe.

As for the DVD ripping software I'm not sure. I would guess that it is but I know that DVD Shrink is safe and it does the same thing.

so what does Auto-Gordian Knot actually do? is that the part that save the rip?

Don't use auto gordion knot. From my past experiences, it's much harder to use and doesn't even work (at least for me).

Use dvdx. It's much more user friendly.

If you have any questions about what settings to use, just ask.

I use the whole suite of that package (decrypter, img burn etc) quite often although i haven't had much experience with the decrytper since i haven't needed it I use imgburn an awful lot and its a very nice reliable program, its very friendly to use to.

Try Handbrake. It's fairly easy to use.
