Since I own many email accounts from different providers, I am curious to know, what do you guys think is the best one to use?

Hotmail, it has filters, junk mail, secure/unsecure stuff,

Google Mail without a doubt, spam filter is absolutely amazing. I get around 1500 spam per month, and it is 99.9% accurate at putting spam in the right place. The interface is really good, simple but functional. Can't fault Google Mail - wouldn't ever consider using someone else for my email.

Gmail is ftw.
I use it for most things now, the hotmail one is only for spam and I only use the .net passport so I could chat to friends.

Use hotmail and Googlemail. I've had a hotmail for a while and it has my MSN setup on it, as for googlemail I use that for most usage with Thunderbird setup on my computer

I use Yahoo and I'm happy with the free service. The Bulk folder is often accurate and I only get about 10 spam emails a day. I quickly scan through them and move any to my Inbox that don't belong. This account is my primary email account that I use for all my registrations and chatting with friends and whatnot.
I also have a Gmail account that I use only for job prospects.

Agreed. I use my gmail account for everything. It filters out all the spam, and you can set countless filters to try and prevent the spam coming in the first place. I enjoy making a filter which sends the spam back to th sender

I use Yahoo Mail for the most part. It's not so much a fact of it being better than GMail but it's what I started with and it is way to much hassle to switch to a different provider. I really don't like that Yahoo doesn't allow me to auto-forward.

That's what I do as well. I use a couple of GMail accounts for various reasons and just auto-forward them to Thunderbird. It's a nice system.
Another great thing about GMail is that you can use the storage space to store things other than emails

GMAILIt's really simplistic, easy to use... you can very easily archive messages so you're inbox doen't get full, though, it is hard when you have around 8gb of space

You not receiving spam is not down to Squirrelmail though, as it has no spam filtering.

Great spam filter, simple interface, a lot of memory and lot more features

I sort of use Hotmail, but not that often..

Gmail, it's easily the best. I've had it for almost a year and only 1 spam has ever got through the filter. With the inbuilt chat, I can talk to anyone.

I use two Gmail accounts.
One informal and one formal. I use the in-formal on for signing up to sites etc, and all mail is forward to my formal one, which I also use as my .net passport(/WLID) for MSN.
*Wondering if you all know you can use Gmail for MSN*

I use yahoo only because when i made my email account Gmail wasnt around yet or was still very primitive and Yahoo was the best thing around.

Nobody can offer infinite, they can offer unmetered however.
But someone who uses 6.5GB of space must receive a lot of emails. If each email is 100kb each, that is about 68000 emails. An awful lot.

Likewise, the spam filter is amazing. I have no problem sticking it on the internet without the <at> stuff. Reminds of the the Social Security number commercial on TV not to long ago. Some how my "work" e-mail is ran through the google systems as well.

Gmail for sure, if you can't access it, you can always use https.

A bit laggy on older computers, but has soooo much space.

I use the account I got from my ISP for formal stuff like online purchases etc., then I have an alias on that for forums, then a gmail account for school and whatnot. The advantage is that they can all be used simultaneously in my lightweight Mail application.

The thing I don't like about ISP accounts, is it restrict me moving ISPs so easily.
