Ancient Legion (AL) was founded by two brothers, Lamb Bug and Golden arm42, in April 2008. Ancient Legion started out small, with a handful of members, but since then, we've become one of the most long-lasting and successful mid-level clans in Runescape. Our forums have over 55,000 posts and we\'ve fought dozens of official wars. Our current requirements are 85+ for full member, junior members can join at any level but will not receive the benefits of full membership until they reach 85 freeplay combat.

We pride ourselves on being a clan that enjoys a bunch of events. If you're looking for an intense warring or skilling or PKing clan, we're probably not for you. However, if you're a player who enjoys a variety of activities, you'll probably love AL. Some of the events we do on a pretty regular basis can be separated into a couple of categories:

Clan Wars. In AL, we take our warring performance very seriously.We always have at least one war per week, usually on Saturday afternoons. However, shortprep miniwars and war practices are also common.
Boss hunting. We're not so much of a GWD clan, but we do hunt bosses, most often the Chaos Elemental and KBD.
Minigame events. Fist of Guthix, Stealing Creation, Fight Pits, and even Fishing Trawler are all favorites of AL members.
Skilling events. Skilling can definitely get boring by yourself. AL offers group skilling to help ward off boredom.
Weekly contests. Each week, AL\'s members select a particular skill that will be the skill for the next week\'s contest. Basically, the competition is to see who can get the most XPs in that particular skill over the course of a week. The winner gets the rank of "Elite Skiller" and a shiny graphic to add to his collection.

Before trying to join AL, make sure you have:

1. 85+ freeplay combat if you\'re trying to apply as full member. If you are a lower level than that, you can still apply as junior member.
2. A set of full rune armor.
3. A gold explorer's ring.

If you have those things, here are the steps to join.

1. Go to our forums. On the top left of the screen, you should see the register button. Click that button.

2. You should now be to the registration form (if not, use this direct link). Fill that form out with correct information. You need to use a REAL email address.

3. You have now registered an account on our forums. You should get an automated PM giving you the next instructions.
