At march I posted about my new computer and how it will run with vusta and people said it will work fine. Now it just loads up a place when I click on a character and once its done loading it doesn't show the city, just stay on the loading screen.Once i click alt+f4+esc it will say that my graphics card doesn't support Guild Wars and I already new that but it worked. So I was wondering why did it work before and now it doesn't.I couldn't find that out so instead I was just simply think of buying a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT.

So here are its specs:

Price: Around $190
GPU Architecture: 8 Series
Texture Fill Rate(per second): 33.6 billion
Maximum Memory Bandwidth: 57.6GB/s
Memory Size: 512 MB
Microsoft DirectX: 10
HDR Lighting: 128 bit

So I'm just wondering about your opinions with this card and if its a good buy.

First off, reinstall your display drivers. Confidently know--drivers are the solution AND source of many problems. Second off, do you really need to spend $190 on a graphics card? If you're in the USA, you can get a lower-end version of that card for $50+ less. A GeForce 9600GT will run you from about $120-150. They offer 80-90% of the performance for a reasonable 65-85% the price-tag. Also, a GeForce 8800GS will run you about $100-130. They offer about 70-80% of the performance for an even more reasonable 55-70% the price tag. If you really want an 8800GT, which is a good choice for the price, you can get it here for as low as $180 (or $160 after MIR).

I dont know how to reinstall my drivers
Bob-sama
nVidia
ATI

Download the latest. If you don't know what your current graphics card is and you're running, go to the desktop. Right-click and select properties. Look at the top of the window that pops up and click the Settings tab. On there, click the Advanced button. From there, click on the Adapter tab. Under there, it should tell you what graphics card you have and the memory size.

For Vista, right-click and select Personalize. From there, click the last item in the window that appears. Do the same thing (click the Advanced button. From there, click on the Adapter tab. Under there, it should tell you what graphics card you have and the memory size).

A common problem is having conflicting drivers--if you previously had an nVidia graphics card and replaced it with an ATI graphics card, those nVidia drivers will conflict with the new ATI drivers. It's just how it works. You have to uninstall the old drivers and then replace them with the new drivers.

I don't think I can reinstall the drivers for a Intel® G33/G31 Express Chipset Family because I probably wouldn't find them and I searched.

Intel drivers? Run a CPU-Z and validate a dump. I need to know what motherboard you have, so I can make sure you get the right drivers your current setup. If you have a retail machine (such as HP/Compaq, Dell, or Acer/Gateway), they should all be available in the support center on their website. Also, XP or Vista 32 or Vista 64? (I assume XP or Vista 32)

If you're using an Intel G33 chipset motherboard, the drivers should be here. Again, run a CPU-Z so I can find out.

I don't know what exactly you are looking for and how to dump because I don't know which one.I validated though but dont know what you are looking for so here is the link for the results. Its a Windows XP 32-Bit by Dell.

If you need to know more about my computer just ask.

This should be the correct set of drivers for your current setup. Even if you get these working, the integrated graphics isn't great for gaming, and your power supply doesn't have the "oomph" for a higher-draw graphics card, such as those that I told you about. You could probably go with a GeForce 8600GT or similar graphics card, which would run about $80, which is a mainstream-value processor. If you wanted a higher-draw graphics card, such as that GeForce 8800GT, you'd also have to buy a more-powerful power supply. Luckily, now, Dell uses ATX power supplies. A few years ago, Dell stopped made their motherboards incompatible with standard ATX power supplies by rewiring them, so a standard PSU would fry the system. This isn't the case, so you would also have to spend about $50 or so on a reasonable power supply.

I reinstalled the drivers and the game still doesn't work.Oh and I did not understand a word you just said.Im guessing youre saying you suggest I get a new graphics card?
Bob-sama
New graphics card. You were planning on one anyways. If it is a power hog (you can ask me about that), you'll also need a new power supply.

You'll need to buy a power supply with a 6 pin PCI-e connector (most will come with this). I mean heck this could run your system with an 8800GT, but you would probably be better off with a Corsair 450W. You could also cut back on to a 9600GT if you wanted to.
Bob-sama
That Antec Earthwatts will probably be too little. While true that your system overall doesn't draw much, the graphics card draws from the +12V rail, that power supply is overrated. Doing quick math, it shows that the +3.3V, +5V, and +12V gives 574W of power. Not possible. That Corsair is a good bet, but I personally prefer going strait to the source--getting a SeaSonic unit. SeaSonic SS-400ES for $64 shipped or SeaSonic SS-500ES for $73 shipped. Even rebranded, the actual manufacturer usually keeps the best units for themselves. Those two power supplies are more OEM-driven models, where having a huge fan and being shiny and black are unimportant, to say the least.

And yes, that GeForce 8800GT is a bit of a power hog.
The Virus
So you recommend a seasonic if I wanted to buy a 8800gt?
Bob-sama
Yes--at least that 400W unit for the 8800GT.
