Ok, all my music on my iPod is in either of these two formats,

What music files will run on PSP's? ALSO, if either of them need to be changed, how can i change the type of music file

Thanks for any info.
Acid
PSP works with MP3 formatted music.

Your currently working with M4a, so you can try and use a converter.

I would recommend going through google for a bit searching for free ones however heres one i've just dug up - haven't tested it personally.

If a tech support gave it to you, then my guess is yes. tongue.gif

M4a's work on your iPod only because it's a filetype that only the iPod supports. (Apple made it so you would HAVE to buy the songs from them)

look what i just found on Sony.com

"PSP® compatible music/audio formats Back to top
You can save and play music/audio on your PSP® (PlayStation® Portable) system in the following file formats:
MP3
MP4
ATRAC3plus™
ATRAC3™
WAV
WMA"

guess that means i'm in the clear eh?

I don't see either .m4a or .mpg (from your first post) on the list of compatible file formats on this list. pfft.gif
