Its a good card yes, but its not that good for the price your paying. Personally i would choose the 2600 Pro over it, it works out cheaper and you should put the left over money to better use. I wouldn't invest too much money in an aging interface.
Whats your budget for a graphics card? And what games do you plan on running?
is your power supply up to scratch?

It's a decent card, but if it's anything over $100, don't bother. A Radeon HD 2600 Pro or 2600 XT are good choices for cheaper.

Are you limited to AGP like I am? If so, this is worth it.
But if not then get a better PCI-E card for the same price.
