So I was wondering what the best ATX computer case is that has the best airflow (keeps everything cool). Thanks.

I think it would be hard to beat the CM Stacker 310 in terms of air cooling, Antec 900 is a really nice air cooled case for the price, heard its a bit restrictive in terms of cable tidy. Whats your budget? Since "best" isn't always feasible smile.gif

Yes well said Acid. I can save up for 200 but currently got 100. Canadian.
Edit:Ya just looked at my local computer store and they got Antec 900 for $101.99 BUT since it's on sale I only pay $99.99!!!!

Might be lucky with a CM 690 smile.gif, chuck in some Yate loons and a fan controller and thats one mean air cooled case ohmy.gif (although some people aren't fans of fan controllers wink.gif pardon the pun)

The word 'best' is up to opinion. My opinion of the best ATX case is probably much different than yours. I would get the cheapest ATX case I could find so long as it was in decent condiditon. Having a cool computer case doesn't make the computer any faster so it's a low priority on my list. I'd spend the money saved on better hardware.

Here's a version of 'the best ATX computer case' in my opinion. More expensive cases come with things like a power supply, slide-able drive bays, but I don't swap out my CD-ROM drive enough to justify buying one, cheap power supply I'll never use (which they give to me) is a waste of money, but I might pay a bit extra if the wiring was easier. Also, you aren't going to find a computer case with bad cooling. They all come with fans. happy.gif

Cable tidy, Air flow are pretty high on my list happy.gif room for water cooling helps too. Although you could mod quite a lot to get around some of those problems. Antec 900 would still be a good buy if you want some styling. CM 690 can be bought for around $50 i've heard ohmy.gif.

I'm exactly the same, mine was the cheapest one they did and it works just fine. I don't spend the saved money on better hardware though, I just don't spend it at all. tongue.gif Air flow in the case seems to be good, not sure how it compares to the more expensive things though. My Dad has a pretty expensive case, and I can't see why you would spend the extra money personally.

It really depends on the setup I think, i find warm components can benefit from better cooling in a case. But most builds will be fine with any old case, the rest is preference.

I just looked at the CM 830 Stacker and I must say. WOW

I have an XClio Propeller and an XClio 188A. I personally like the XClio Windtunnel Advanced--excellent cooling in that case and decent build quality.

By most reports, these are the best cases for air cooling. I'd suggest against spending more than $150 or so--I prefer to pay ~$50 before shipping. Basically look for a good idea--I found a GREAT deal for the Propeller I bought--it's a $80 case and had a $30 instant rebate as well as free shipping ($18 or so). I paid $50 for it--and it would normally have cost nearly twice as much without rebate and with normal shipping. That was an EXCELLENT deal for me and the cooling is exactly what I wanted.
