Firstly, I wanted to praise the good work on the latest Salcast.

You probably won't be surprised that I'm commenting on the story reading. I think it's a great idea and I just had a couple of questions.

• How do you select the story or stories for readings?
• You gave the intro to Extinction - do you plan to give future episodes of the same story in future? Or were you just giving us a taster?

• Well, its a scientific process which requires months of hard painstaking work, reviewing every story... Or I read a few an decide on a good one
• Only tasters, as it'll point them back at the story writers topic.

If you want, you can suggest a few good ones for future episodes.

You can get some good ideas from either The Reviewing Circle post #1, which is a thread where authors rate one another's work, or from Neverdead's Bookcase post#1 where Master Neverdead and I have rated various people's work.

It would be good to have a full reading of a short story, but I think tasters are good too. Extinction is a good story, but it's incomplete and hasn't been worked on for months. If anyone followed up on the taster, they might be disappointed not to get an ending.

Yes, it was a clear and interesting read. It could have done with an occasional pause for emphasis and to let the preceding sentence or phrase sink in, but otherwise, I thought it was great.
