I'm going to soon buy a 40 GB PS3, which only has 2 USB slots, and I want more

Is it possible to use a USB hub with one, as far as I know I think it shoul work...

It should, rock bands USB hub is pretty much the same thing as this, and that works.

You should be able to. Get one that comes with a power supply, though. The PS3's USB ports don't supply enough power to power a hub. If it doesn't work, you can still take it back.
