I know it's two weeks ago, but no one made a topic on it

So, do you plan on using it?
It's mainly a technical update, with speed greatly increased, although some great tweaks have been done, such as putting the options to choose to display only images in the cache or no images (horribly useful sometimes) and the zoom option always available at the bottom right à la IE (but IE does NOT have that nifty images feature).
It also has IRC, and an almost fully customizable graphical interface.
Moreover, it's free!

Got a friend, who just started using it about a week ago, he likes it.
I thought this update of Opera, was entirely UI orientated?

I use to use Opera, because I heard it was faster then Internet explorer

But that was a long time ago, Firefox all the way

I'm using IE6, with the bare essentials that I need. I've taken away, all the buttons but, Forward / Back, Home and Stop / Refresh. And I've got a custom made browser on the way, which just uses Microsofts .net framework.
To each his own, right?

EDIT: My System wont flip out if I have two Internet browsers installed right?

I like Opera. It has a lot of really cool features, that neither IE or Firefox have. Also when compared to those two browsers it has a
real sense of style. In terms of just the look of the browser, Opera is miles ahead of both Firefox and IE. But there are just a couple of things that are keeping me from using it.

But then again, you could get those as ad-ons for Firefox. I have both of those features in Firefox right now.

Add-ons take space and slow the browser down. Opera has those built in ;D
And I can think of quite a bit of things fx add-ons can't give you.

About Opera and Firefox: they are both awesome browsers - think of Firefox as a Hummvee (you can mount everything and then some on one) and of Opera as a sports car (fast and sleek, but there are few ways to expand it...not that you'd need to anyway).

And when you have a microphone, you can command the browser with your voice. Few practical application, but a sense of divine might when you say "Reload" and the browser reloads the page.

(It's also rather cool to use on sites where you want quick refreshes, and you can tell the browser to refresh every X seconds for even more convenience.

) (The ability of reading out pages is also awesome. It's extremely practical for those humongous tl;dr posts on Sal's.

I've been using Opera for a couple years and think its great. One thing I like about it is that it's customizable through regular .ini files, and you can also add custom buttons to the Personal Bar (one that comes in handy is a "open current page in Ffx" for those sites that absolutely refuse to work in Opera.)
It also has a right-click spell check that gives suggested correct spellings (on Windows and Linux it needs GNU Aspell installed).
Opera's install and use of the configuration files hasn't changed from version to version either (for the most part) and you can easily save the needed files to get it set up quickly on a fresh Windows install.
Couple of things I wasn't to happy about on 9.50 though - the Speeddial automatically refreshes when the personal data is cleared, and when I went to install it on Windows I noticed that it no longer had the option to install "one profile for all users" (which is what I liked since Im the only user).
They provide an updated repository for Ubuntu now though, so I guess I can't complain too much!

Maybe i should try it out.
Is it its own engine, or is it built on IE? (those built-ons are bad)
Would that voice commands come in norwegian?
If not, i dont think its a good feature..

It isn't using an IE engine, but I don't know what it does use; quite likely its own.

It uses the Presto engine, which is developed by Opera Software.
