www.com

I'm not sure if I should use their e-mail service or not. I can't seem to find any information on their site, so I'm not sure if they can be trusted.

Does anybody know anything about this site?

If anybody can look over their privacy policy or something and give me some help with this I'd be very grateful.

I certainly hope this is the right section...

I have never heard of them, and I tried their search and it didn't work for me. Seems like a weird typo website.

Why don't you use Google Mail, Yahoo Mail, AIM Mail, GMX Mail or Hotmail.
Goliath
Simply because @www.com is neat and I need a professional email address. I already have hotmail, yahoo and gmail and I don't want to be the guy with 10 hotmail accounts and no idea as to what the passwords are.

But thank you anyway. I guess I'll look for something else.

It looks legit, but I can't find very much information about it on other sites.
I signed up for an account and it works.
Stobbo
I'm very suspicions of it. pfft.gif

Maybe it does, but it could be stealing your information.

Site Adviser doesn't have any information on it, so I'd stay away if I were you.

I found www.com out years ago just to see if such a URL existed. I haven't used any of their services though. If you're looking for a professional email address like one you would want to put on a Resume, I suggest using your full name (at least first and last) at any one of the top email providers. I use gmail for a professional address just for this purpose, but use a Yahoo account for my every day emailing.

yourname@yourdomain.com looks pretty proffesional to me, if you happen to have a website.
Devilboy3007
Yep my pro e-mail is

firstname@lastname.org, .eu, .us, .info

soon to acquire the .net and the .com of my last name, cool.gif

If you ever get a domain name, i recommend getting one from namecheap.com and if you need the e-mail hosting, i can set you up with Google Apps E-Mail

I don't think it recognizes www.com as a proper URL.

The account creation process went great, but now I can't log in. I guess it's not so great after all :P.

See what it has to say about www.www.com which is a three part URL but directs you to www.com anyways.

They had no records of www.www.com either. I submitted it for testing, though, so we'll see if they pick up anything.

Thanks, all of you.

I suppose gmail is pretty professional, but I don't like the layout. I find it hard to navigate and get things organized.

Well, get gmail and enable POP settings, so you can use it with Outlook.
Goliath
I hate outlook even more, actually.

Can I forward messages to my hotmail?

yes you can. just go to settings -> forward POP/IMAP and configure the forward part.
Darkeyes
IIRC, Microsoft made it so that you have to use the paid version of Hotmail to use any mail client with it.
Definition
Goliath, how about thunderbird.

Just pick a client with POP abilities.
