On the Dell Website it shows how to put it in. I have the bottom things in, but when I put it in the top there is a metal line thing blocking it. IDK....
What model do you have? Also, have you tried to contact Dell's computer support? I can't help you directly, unfortunately, I find Dell computers to be inferior to a custom PC or a Mac, but if you are on a budget, I guess they are good.
By the way, don't just bang on it and hope it works okay, you could actually damage something...
