I'm currently making my Cart for my MacBook. Letting you guys check to see if something is missing, a bad product or if I should remove something.

Two things I'm uncertain about:
  • Buying iWork not pre-installed and in a box itself for if we get an iMac or something later on
  • Ordering the MacBook with 2x1GB of RAM installed and buying 2x2GB of RAM myself and installing it ($185 to upgrade from 2x1GB to 2x2GB).

[I get a $319 Rebate on the iPod Touch (Education Discount) and I'm selling my current one for $250, so it lowers the price by $569.]

iWork is fine pre-installed, since the next iMac you'll buy will proably have the next years, and have it pre-installed.

And, why are you getting a new touch?

You might as well just go with what you have now...no point in upgrading the RAM yourself.

We were looking at getting an iMac this summer possibly. Might just be easier to get it in a box so I don't have to pay the $71 again.

I'm getting a new Touch in order to save myself $250. I currently own one, so I'm selling it and getting a new one for free. Makes paying for this a lot easier.

Okay, I see your reasons. And mikey, he wants more RAM, that's the point of upgrading himself.

Actually, it's the same amount of RAM. The only difference would be price and getting 800Mhz instead of 667Mhz. Still debating it.

Can anyone find 2GB DDR2 SDRAM 800Mhz sticks for me?

Good choice on a MacBook. Does the backpack meet the size of the computer? Is it big enough?

The backpack is made by Incase, a company that specializes in making products for Apple products. It will fit the MacBook. This is the exact product off their website.

And yes, I know I'm going to love this MacBook. <3
