I think salcast should have more polls. It would make people be able to take even more part in salcast. Like polls about what songs are better, whatskill levels are better ect.

For example,

What song is better?: Panic at the Disco: That Green Gentlemen or The Killers: When you Were Young

Hmm, I think that would actually make a quite nice section on the SalCast. We have a Poll Question on the episode and a topic on the SalCast forum, then the results on the next episode. Good Idea, It just might come into effect on a future SalCast.

About the songs, I think it would be clever if the audience, us, could have some say in which songs are used in the SalCast. Oh, and, the Music Recommendations thread for the SalCast is lost somewhere in the 'Scape Lounge.

Thanks. I just think it would expand more to how much listeners could become part of what happened on salcast. Like the riddles, you make them, listeners answers, kind of making them part of salcast and be able to do things with salcast. That's just like what this would be like.




Nah, cause if the most of the listeners of salcast liked rock, then all the people who liked it would vote rock music up. That wouldn't be far for the listeners who liked rap, street, classic ect. So I think the salcast team would be able to decide and change up the genres of the music for the benifit of the different kind of viewers. I don't mean like mix a rap song with a rock song as the poll but change the genres each month. like have rock songs for the genre one month then rap the next month.

Then why can't we, the listeners, just have a variety each month? One question is about one genre, the other a different genre.

I mean 2 poll questions 1 about runescape the other about music... if you changed the genres in the poll like one song was rap and another rock then say if most of the forum liked rock most people would pick it. Having the same genre makes it fair for the people who like that genre. And then they could change it each month. I guess adding 2 more poll questions wouldn't be a bad idea. It doesn't really matter. The more the better.

Why don't we allow regular Slammers to suggest music? We do. In fact, we take all the recommendations, and fill in the remaining slots ourselves. This time, there were no suggestions, so we made it all up ourselves.

I don't think you should take recommendations because of what I said. It wouldn't be fair for the fans of other music genres if most people only recommended 1 genre.

Well, if they want their style of music in the SC, they should recommend it. End of story.

But from what I have seen, the style of music in the 'Cast is practically the same for each episode. There is Acoustic, Classical, Dance, Pop, Rock, and that's it. Whatever happened to the other genres?

See the way we see it, is that if no one suggests it, no one wants it. If you want to hear some "Genre here" then go to the suggestion thread and put it in.
